From the invisible
to center stage

Euforie-se exists to claim a space that has always been denied to the Deaf community: the right to live culture as a protagonist.

More than an event, it is a movement that turns absence into presence. Where there was once no communication accessibility, now there is a stage. Where there was no visibility, now there is light. Where culture once ignored, it now celebrates. Our goal is to break the institutional silence that has marked Deaf history and create a space where Deaf people can feel a true sense of belonging, representation, and celebration.

Euforie-se is art, politics, and affection. It is a collective shout in Libras that echoes across the country, declaring: the Deaf community does not want adaptation: it wants protagonism.

To celebrate the existence of the Deaf community in its fullness — with brilliance, autonomy, and respect.

Euforie-se is born from true listening, from the desire to rebuild what culture has neglected for so long. Our mission is to open paths where once there were only barriers. We create a place where Libras is celebrated as a language of art and expression, and where Deaf identity is not explained — it is lived with pride.

We are movement, gathering, and recognition. And with each edition, we reaffirm: Brazilian culture is incomplete without the presence of the Deaf community.

Euforie-se believes that culture, leisure, education, and art are rights — not favors. Article 6 of the Brazilian Federal Constitution guarantees this. But in reality, how many Deaf people truly have access to these spaces?

Our vision is to transform the Euforie-se Festival, starting in 2027, into a major biennial gathering — created and led by the Deaf community. A space where our experiences, visual voices, and strengths are the center, not the exception.

Workshops, cinema, art, debates, gatherings, and experiences made by us and for us. A place where being Deaf is not a barrier — it is identity. Where being respected is not a solitary struggle, but a collective foundation.

We want to build a future where Deaf people from Brazil and around the world come together to create, teach, and transform — with freedom, pride, and belonging.

The protagonism of the Deaf community is not only possible. It is necessary. And it has already begun.

Euforie-se Was Born

It’s not just an event. It’s our response.

Euforie-se was born because the Deaf community got tired of waiting invited to the party. We decided to create our own.

In 2017, Gabriel Isaac 🡥 began to take over the internet with something much bigger than content: he brought to the digital world what the streets and stages still didn’t offer, visibility with affection, creation with presence, pride with truth for the Deaf community.

Five years later, this journey became a name, a color, a movement. In 2022, the first Euforie-se showed that it wasn’t just possible. It was necessary.

Today, Euforie-se is what should have always existed: a space where the Deaf community is seen, celebrated, and respected as a force.

4th Edition — Brazilian Folklore 🌿

The edition that made history. With 1,000 tickets sold out in less than 48 hours, Euforie-se 2025 showed that Deaf protagonism is more alive than ever.

After the power of the 2024 micareta, we understood it was time to value even more our identity and the traditions of our country. That’s how the theme Brazilian Folklore was born, as an invitation to reconnect the Deaf community with the ancestry and stories that make up Brazil.

In this edition, we took an important step: we visually adapted folklore legends for Deaf culture. More than an aesthetic choice, it was an act of responsibility. We thought of Deaf children who, for so long, grew up without accessible references. We want them to recognize themselves as part of these stories. We want them to see themselves as protagonists.

For the first time, we held a national selection so Deaf artists from different regions could bring their cultural expressions to the stage. It was an edition built with pride, belonging, and power.

Euforie-se 2025 established the event as a movement growing in structure, purpose, and impact. Step by step, we are building the path for the festival to become a great international celebration of art, culture, and Deaf protagonism.

With each edition, we make it clearer that occupying spaces is not the end. It’s just the beginning.

3rd Edition — Micareta 🎭

The third edition marked a new chapter in the history of Euforie-se. It was when we began to reflect, more collectively and courageously, on our place as Deaf citizens within Brazilian culture. Why is Carnival, so Brazilian, still so inaccessible to the Deaf community?

This question became action. Inspired by the energy of micaretas and the strength of our sensory experience, we created an event designed for Deaf people to celebrate with their own identity. Exclusive abadás, personalized cups, Deaf DJs, Deaf samba performers, a Deaf tattoo artist, and entrepreneurs from various fields created an environment where Deaf and Brazilian cultures truly met.

We also invited two hearing DJs to participate in this edition, showing that coexistence with respect is possible. The protagonism belonged to the Deaf community, but conscious allies contributed to building a more plural space.

It was a big step. With more participants and greater structure, Euforie-se 2024 showed that accessibility is not a last-minute adaptation, it is a starting point. This edition consolidated the festival as a space of experience, pride, and belonging for the Deaf community.

2nd Edition — University 🎓

With more structure, greater reach, and more participants, the second edition dove into new territory: education. Euforie-se 2023 highlighted the importance of knowledge, politics, and occupying academic and institutional spaces, without leaving behind celebration and art.

The theme "University" was not just about formal education. It was about ancestral wisdom, Deaf experience, and intellectual power. This edition reaffirmed that the Deaf community doesn’t just want inclusion. They want to occupy, lead, and transform.

What began as a party also became discourse, provocation, and collective building. Euforie-se showed that when the Deaf community takes center stage in the narrative, culture and thought go hand in hand.

1st Edition — Shine! 💫

The reunion that sparked the flame.

After the isolation of the pandemic, the Deaf community seemed disconnected, distant from gatherings, events, and exchanges. It was in this context that the first Euforie-se was born, a simple party, but full of meaning.

The idea began as a celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Isflocos project, but it became something much bigger. It was there, in that gathering, that we realized how much a space where the Deaf community can see, recognize, and celebrate their own identity with true protagonism, not as a supporting role, was needed.

Libras was present, not as an accessory, but as the center. It was the beginning of what would become a movement. The first Euforie-se reminded us that shining is not vanity. It is a right.
